I know exactly how you feel. I had one put in two years ago, I had two miscarriages previously due to an incompetent cervix @ 22 weeks. My second miscarriage they did an emergency cerclage, but my cervix was already open, so it didn’t hold. I’m glad to say that my second one was a complete success, I had it put in @ the end of 12 weeks and I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy. I am pregnant again 10 weeks today and am scheduled for another cerclage in two weeks. I’m glad it worked for you as well. CONGRATULATIONS!

First off, love LOVE the photo of the cutie!!!
Next, oh hell, give me hope here with the mini pill! I was hoping to use it too, but no one seems to have good results! I didn’t want to try the IUD, but maybe……
Hopefully Hubby will get it together and everything will be OK.

Motherhood, labor of pure love! Not much glamour, that is why our moms don’t tell us these things. My mom always says “if I told you, you might not want to have kids.” Ha ha!

I just wanted to say congratulations!! I came across this blog while searching for information on cerlcage removal, i get mine removed on Tuesday (oct.13th) I too have an incompetent cervix.. I wish that they would check the cervix better and check for IC when women are first pregnant, instead of having to lose babies first.. I lost my son (my first born) at 23 weeks.. It was devastating, as i’m sure you know.. I’m sorry to hear about your losses, and i also want to tell you that because of that you’re probably going to be one of the best moms out there. This pregnancy must have been very hard, i know mine was at many times.. and i am so glad to hear this happy story to make me feel better, and safer.. I’m 36 weeks, and i’m really hoping to have this little guy nice and healthy!! Yours is beautiful!! and congrats!!
